Today, among the developed countries of the world, an active approach to the use of information and communication technologies in schools is not limited to electronic textbooks or manuals, atlases or encyclopedias. Network technologies, the Internet and first of all, is now one of the means of providing equal access to quality education, is an integral part of the educational industry.
The Internet today is the most important socio-economic communication of our civilization. The global network reflects the functioning of various sectors of society and information service provides communication, leisure and other professional activities of the individual. The Internet is necessary for teachers to all students and regardless of the subject. Internet as a technical means of personal development significantly contributes to its expanding opportunities for self-realization and social. Network users not only “consume” information, but also constantly replenish it with various information resources.
Consider the Internet from the standpoint of its educational opportunities. It is known that the Internet was not designed specifically for the education system, but education systems around the world have taken advantage of the Internet, which meet the basic requirements of didactics to technical means of education.
The Internet provides such training opportunities that are useful for learning:
1) publication of educational and methodical information in hypermedia form;
2) communication between subjects and objects of the educational process on the Internet;
3) remote access to information resources, remote library directories and files of electronic libraries, users to files, as well as to databases and knowledge;
4) remote use of remote computing remote resources and laboratory workshops. It is these opportunities that have made it possible to make extensive use of the Internet in the education system.
Web-based learning models can be divided into blended learning and full web-based learning. In the first case, Internet technologies are integrated into the traditional educational process, and the educational process, in turn, consists of contact and non-contact periods and training. In addition, there are other basic functions of the Internet; language (electronic libraries), interactive (telecommunication conferences), search (directories, search engines).
Among the considerable number of functions of the Internet, we highlight the most important ones that have an impact on the formation of professional knowledge and skills of future teachers:
1. Transport function (VSP, graphical interface (hypertext with links), e-mail (e-mail), network communication protocols).
